Dr. Abdulrahman Omer Killed amidst chaos in Wau

Wau, South Sudan – Dr. Abdulrahman Omer, a kind and dedicated doctor, was tragically killed at his home during the unrest in Wau yesterday. He had fled the war in Sudan with his family, hoping for safety in South Sudan, but his life was taken in the violence.

The Wau Specialized Medical Complex mourned his death, calling him a great loss to the medical field and the community.

Dr. Omer has been serving at Wau Specialized Medical Complex and several other private clinics and pharmacies in Wau. Known as a “one-call-away” physician, he was always ready to help those in need.

His kindness and hard work will always be remembered.
