Riek Machar’s trial to be broadcast live on SSBC

The highly anticipated trial of Dr. Riek Machar Teny, alongside other seven senior SPLM-IO military and political leaders, will commence on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Freedom Hall in Juba.

South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC) has confirmed it will provide live coverage of the proceedings in the morning hours.

Posting on the matter, SSBC’s Gore Anthony said the case is of national importance, and the public deserves to follow the developments as they unfold.
