Today, I had the honor of joining South Sudan Broadcasting Cooperation (SSBC) for an in-depth conversation on the policy direction of the State Ministry of Animal Resources, Fisheries and Tourism.
We discussed ongoing efforts to strengthen livestock health and productivity in Central Equatoria State.
During the interview, I also explained ways of proomoting sustainable fisheries in CES.
Our conversation also clarified on efforts to revitalize tourism to showcase our state's rich cultural and natural heritage
These sectors are not just economic pillars—they are the heartbeat of our communities. I remain committed to driving inclusive policies that empower farmers, fishers, and entrepreneurs within the state.

Today, I held a productive meeting with South Sudan’s Ambassador to the United Nations, H.E. Cecilia Adut.
The meeting focused on strengthening international partnerships to boost sustainable development in the state’s vital sectors.
Ambassador Adut reaffirmed her commitment to promoting South Sudan’s rich natural and cultural assets on the global stage, while i highlighted ongoing state’s efforts to empower local communities through eco-tourism, fisheries innovation, and wildlife conservation.
Together, we explored pathways for collaboration that will enhance visibility, attract investment, and ensure long-term prosperity for Central Equatoria and beyond.
