Warrap Governor Amb. Bol Wek Agoth has issued a Gubernatorial order relieving and appointing several government officials in his state.

The Followings are the Relieved and Appointed Officials.

1. Hon. Mamer Bath Matiok was relieved as Minister of Information and Communication Services and replaced by Hon. William Wol Mayom Bol.

3. Hon. John Garang Mabior Ater was relieved as Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports and replaced by Hon. Makom Aduol.

4. Hon. Amiir Amet Kuol was relieved as Minister of Roads and Bridges and replaced by Hon. Malong Akot.

5. Hon. Abak Yel was relieved as Minister of Health and replaced by Dr. Anthony Wek Garang.

County Commissioners

6. Hon. Col. John Ayitiak Warwien was relieved as Commissioner of Tonj South County and replaced by Hon. Gordon Makuer Tiau.

7. Hon. Mabior Marup was relieved as Commissioner of Twic County and replaced by Hon. John Mangok Kom.

This is according to gubernatorial order read on 99 FM this evening in Kuacjok the capital of Warrap State.

Cde. Peter Agoth Ayom, the Spokesperson of Aguok Community Association has signed out today after years of fatigue studies in the University of Juba.

Mr. Agoth has studied a Bachelor Degree of Political Science in the School of Social and Economic Studies, department of Political Science.

Juba, South Sudan — October 15, 2025:
Hon. Nhial Deng Nhial, one of South Sudan’s most prominent political figures and a veteran member of the ruling Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), has officially announced the formation of a new political party, the South Sudan Salvation Movement (SSSM).

In an 18-page declaration shared with the media, Nhial said the new party will focus on “restoring national unity, accountability, and good governance,” accusing the SPLM leadership of straying from the founding vision that inspired South Sudan’s independence struggle.

“Our nation stands at a crossroads,” Nhial stated in the declaration. “The SPLM has lost its moral compass. The people of South Sudan deserve a movement that prioritizes peace, justice, and prosperity over personal power and corruption.”

The formation of the SSSM marks a major turning point in South Sudan’s political landscape. Nhial, once regarded as one of President Salva Kiir’s most trusted allies and a key architect of the country’s foreign policy, now positions himself as a reformist voice seeking to redefine South Sudan’s governance.

Political analysts suggest that Nhial’s move could attract reform-minded SPLM members, civil society figures, and disillusioned youth who feel excluded from the nation’s political process.

Nhial’s declaration comes amid rising internal tensions within the SPLM and growing public frustration over the slow implementation of the peace agreement and continued economic hardships.

The South Sudan Salvation Movement (SSSM), according to Nhial, will serve as a “platform of hope and renewal, dedicated to building a just, peaceful, and united South Sudan.”
