Meet the longest serving President in Africa 87yrs old President Teodoro Obiang’ Nguema of Equitorial Guinea. He has ruled Equitorial Guinea for 46yrs now having assumed power through a coup in 1979 where he overthrew his uncle Macius Nguema.

His son Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue has been his Vice President since 2016.

Apart from his son Mangue other members of his family hold key government leadership, making Equitorial Guinea more of a colony of the Nguema's.

His son Ruslan Obiang Nsue was recently found guilty of illegally selling Equitorial Guinea national airline plane while serving as the company's director.

In Equitorial Guinea mentioning the name of their President in bad faith is equivalent to a treasonous crime.
