With Funds from Road Maintenance Fund Administration, the honourable member of Parliament who also doubles as the National Organizing secretary of the Rulling SLPP Hon. Musa Peter Moigua has commissioned the construction of twelve(12) culverts in constituency 011.

The official commissioning event took place on Saturday 1st April 2023 in one of the beneficiary towns Kpetewoma small Bo chiefdom in Kenema district.

Three contractors namely Amerikin construction and general merchandise, Gbaama and Kpangay construction companies respectively, have been awarded the contract for the said work.

The twelve culverts will be constructed from Kpetewoma to Yorvuhun town in small Bo chiefdom Kenema district.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the chiefdom speaker of small Bo chiefdom Chief Ishmael Koroma who served as chairman and PC representative at the ceremony, admonished all three contractors to make sure a proper work is been done in the best interest of the people.

He said as constituents, they will resist any contractor who may tend to do a sub- standard job for the people of constituency 011.

Chief Ishmael Koroma hailed Hon. Musa Moigua for his numerous projects he has undertaken for the people of constituency 011 before his inception as MP to date.

The honourable member of Parliament Hon. Musa Peter Moigua in his submission, thanked the entire membership of SLPP and President Bio for bringing the said project to light.

He pointed out that the journey for the construction of the twelve culverts for his people started since 2017.

He went further to thank God Almighty for finally ensuring the reality of the project.

Hon. Moigua appealed to representatives of the Sierra Leone Roads Authority present for timely payment to contractors to avoid delay in the work.

According to the MP, the work will commence with immediate effect and is expected to be completed before the 2023 pools.

On behalf of the Sierra Leone Roads Authority, Ing. Paul Demby Director of maintenance, expressed delight over the zest of the people in constituency 011 for the said development especially the member of Parliament. He indicated that the MP has already exhibited high level of leadership qualities considering the fact that his strides in making sure the project comes to reality started before his inception as MP.

He assured the people that they will do everything humanly possible to ensure a smooth work by all contractors till completion especially regards payment.

He reiterated that, the project will be completed before the June 24 pools.

He finally advised all contractors to stick to the contract specifications for the good of all, while calling on beneficiaries to own the project and channel their complaints through the appropriate stakeholders where they feel dissatisfied.

Authorities in the beneficiary towns expressed their autmost gratitude to their MP and the President for the project.

They said, they are ready to give a block vote to the SLPP and President Bio come June 24 2023.
