LAI First Semester Examinations – Beginners Year 1 (2024/2025 Academic Year)

Alhamdulillah, we have successfully concluded the First Semester Examinations, in which our students were tested in Qirā’ah (Reading – both oral and practical) and Kitābah (Arabic Writing). This was not just an exam; it was a milestone, marking the foundation of their ability to read and write Arabic independently.

In just six months, by the mercy of Allah, our students have achieved remarkable progress and built the confidence to engage with the Arabic language in meaningful ways. This is a great beginning to their journey of knowledge and faith.

As we now look forward to the Second Semester, we are excited to move deeper. Students will embark on the study of Tajwīd, accompanied by a complete analysis of Juz ‘Amma, along with the beautiful lessons from Sūrah Ṭāhā, Sūrah Maryam, and selected portions of Sūrat al-Baqarah and Āl ‘Imrān.

This next phase will not only refine their recitation but also enrich their understanding of the Qur’an; bringing them closer to Allah’s words and strengthening their identity as students of knowledge.

To all our students: be proud of how far you have come in just one semester, and let this motivate you to strive even harder in the next. The journey of knowledge is long, but every step takes you closer to excellence, and every effort brings reward both in this world and the hereafter.
