The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱𝗶 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮, has today met with the Leone Stars technical team to discuss strategies and preparations ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau 🇬🇼 and Ethiopia 🇪🇹 in September. Sierra Leone will face Guinea-Bissau on 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 in Bissau, before taking on Ethiopia on 𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 in Monrovia.

President Kamara commended the technical staff for their dedication and hard work, assuring them of the FA’s unwavering backing. “𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐂𝐮𝐩 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦. Vice President 1 and Head of Technical, 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗲, echoed the President’s sentiments, reaffirming the FA’s commitment to fostering collaboration between the technical team, players, and administration to ensure smooth preparations.

Head Coach 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻 expressed gratitude to the President and his Executive for their leadership and support, noting that it plays a vital role in boosting team morale. He assured that the technical staff will work tirelessly to deliver positive results for the nation.

The meeting ended on a note of optimism, with all parties determined to make Sierra Leone proud on the road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
