From Waterloo to Calaba Town, Up Gun Roundabout, Lumley, Portee, and Ferry Junction security presence has been strengthened to ensure peace, stability, and public safety.

A high stakes political moment is unfolding in Sierra Leone following a crucial meeting between the All People’s Congress and international Moral Guarantors.
Led by Ambassador Dr. Alhaji Osman Foday Yansaneh and Lawyer Lansana Dumbuya, the APC sent a strong message: the Tripartite process is losing credibility, and this may be the “last window” for meaningful action. The party raised serious concerns over electoral appointments, legal pressures on opposition supporters, and delays around key national processes like the census issues they say could impact the integrity of the 2028 elections.
Voices like Dr. Kaifala Marrah, Mayor Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr, and Hon. Abdul Kargbo reinforced concerns about transparency and fairness, stressing that lasting peace must be built on justice and a credible electoral system.
In response, H.E. Fatoumata Jallow Tambajang assured that all concerns will be carefully reviewed, emphasizing accountability and dialogue as the way forward.
