MACOSA TO ORGANIZE "MACOSA WEEK" CELEBRATION
As a way to maintain its rich tradition, The Executive of Mass Communication Students Association (MACOSA) wants to inform all students that the MACOSA Week Celebration is set to commence. The celebration, which will be a week long program, will kickstart on Friday 29th July and will end on Saturday 6th August 2016.
This year's celebration will be graced with a chain of activities ranging from Football gala competition, a one-day Symposium, and a House Party .
The celebration will begin with the Football gala Competition, continues with a one-day Symposium and culminated with the House Party.
The Executive believes that this chain of extra-curricular activities is a sure way of keeping and maintaining the department's unity, tranquility and progress. In that concern, the Executive is calling on all students to be actively involved in this one-in-a-year celebration as it keeps us fit for another academic run.

PRESIDENT DAMON CALLS ON MASS COMM SUPPORT.
It is evident that "Greatness is not an attribute that usually roars; it is that tiny inner confidence that says I can make things happen."
As a way of endorsing the just elected students union, President of the Mass Communication Students' Association (MACOSA), Mr Umaru Andrew Damon Samai, is calling on all students of his department to come out in their numbers to support the inauguration ceremony of the Interim Students' Union Executive Elects in which he was elected as Vice President of the interim student body.
The inauguration which will take place on Monday 11th April,2016 at the traditional Adjai Crowther Amphitheater, FBC will see the university administration formerly endorsing the Executive Elects.
Speaking to a group of Mass Communication students moments after his victory, Prezo Damon said he anticipates seeing every Mass Communication student at the ceremony. "I am calling on all students of our great and noble department to come out that day and support the endorsement process."
President Damon later went on to say the fight was not an easy one, but as always he believed in himself and the confidence students have in him. "The fight to becoming the Vice President was a really tough one considering the fact that it was mixed with divergent ideologies, but I was confident because I knew that I have all what it takes to assume such a responsibility."
The election which was done today at the Mary Kingsley Auditorium, was geared towards setting up an interim student body that will help channel the issues of the student community until an election is conducted.
The election process was done by presidents of the various departmental heads on campus.
