Part 3; Sierra Unity Playas’s Badenya Girls/Boys concluded their “Rain Season” by staging a show for their parents, guardians & community heads at the Madinna Community.

We engage preschool & adolescent girls/boys through performing art classes.

They performed;
Folks songs
Storytelling
Dance
Drama

Performing art is very powerful so we teach them about issues affecting them through performing art.

Our safe spaces at Mafengbeh & Madina community provides a space where we give Girls/Boys Life Skills Training, reproductive health talk, creative art training.

It’s a space where we get to talk to about teenage pregnancy, sexual harassment, sexual penetration/rape and also have Sierra Leone history classes.

In empowering Girls we believe in involving Boys.

Motto at our safe space: Catch Dem Young Through Edutainment.

Our Badenya Girls at Mafengbeh Community held their exhibition yesterday 16th February, 2020. Thanks to everyone that came to support them and patronized their creativity.
