We are pleased to share the details of the second visit of Friends of REACHOUT SALONE to Masimra Village in the Masimra Chiefdom, Port Loko District. It was a truly meaningful engagement focused on providing support to the community and the local school.

During our visit, we had the opportunity to meet with local leaders, teachers, and families. These discussions allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of the school's current needs, particularly regarding maintenance and repairs. Our aim is to foster resilience within the community through collective volunteer efforts to address these challenges.

A significant part of our visit involved spending quality time with the children of Masimra Village. We enjoyed playing various games with them and shared a locally prepared meal. These moments created joyful and lasting memories for everyone involved.

This visit underscores our ongoing commitment to celebrating the rich culture of the communities we serve and striving to make a positive impact in Masimra Chiefdom.

Happy International Women's Day!

Today, we celebrate the power, resilience, and leadership of women who have been shaping climate justice and gender justice across the globe. From the grassroots to global negotiations, women are not just advocating for change—they are driving it!

As we mark Beijing+30 and look ahead to CSW69, we acknowledge the progress made—but we also recognize that the fight is far from over. Economic justice, climate finance equity, and gender-responsive policies must be accelerated! Women and girls must be at the center of climate solutions, not sidelined by outdated systems that ignore their role in building a sustainable future.

The time for action is NOW. No more waiting, no more empty promises. Climate justice is gender justice, and we will not rest until women everywhere have access to the resources, opportunities, and decision-making spaces they deserve.
