Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sentenced to 4 years' imprisonment

Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sentenced to 4 years and 2 months in prison, fined $500,000, and placed on 5 years supervised release after being convicted of transporting women across state lines for prostitution.

Prosecutors had asked for 11 years, while his defence argued for just 14 months.

Combs, who has been in custody since September 2024, will get credit for time served.

A jury had acquitted him of racketeering and s*x trafficking, but found him guilty on two lesser counts.

In court, Diddy admitted his actions were “disgusting, shameful and sick,” apologising to victims and his children. The judge pointed to “massive evidence” in justifying the sentence.

He is expected to appeal the ruling.
