Open Letter to FC Kallon
Dear FC Kallon,

I write with deep concern as a supporter of Sierra Leonean football and someone who believes in the future of our young talents.

One name that stands out is Abdul Rahman Kamara, popularly known as Payet. This young man started his football journey with great promise — full of energy, talent, and potential. Yet today, many of us are asking the same question: what went wrong? Why has he been lost in the system?

His case raises a bigger issue — is enough being done to nurture and sustain our young players when the spotlight fades? Or are we unknowingly discouraging them through neglect and lack of proper mentorship?

FC Kallon has always been seen as a beacon for youth development. But with stories like Payet’s, we are left wondering — is that light still shining as brightly as before?

We hope you can provide clarity, not just for Payet’s sake, but for the countless young boys looking up to your institution with hope in their hearts.
