Dr. Sylvia Blyden's Titbits for the Night of 15/06/2022
Audio 075 will be out later but for tonight, I want to highlight few issues as quick written titbits.
1. The APC party needs to, ONCE AGAIN, issue a disclaimer distancing APC from despicable rants of puppies of ventriloquist master Ernest Bai Koroma.
2. The APC party needs to put all the notorious broadcast ilk under control. Those social media commentators cannot be allowed to continue ranting nonsense purportedly for APC. Those of them who refuse to be controlled should be publicly denounced.
3. The Vice President Hon. Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh needs to act with more MATURITY in the Polity. We know the VP got himself embedded in the MORASS in Tonkolili. It's sickening to watch how the Police (of which the VP is Police Council Chairman) is now being used to intimidate key APC stakeholders and elected APC Members of Parliament.
4. The Speaker of Parliament the Rt. Hon. Dr. Abass Chernor Bundu (he is normally a good man!) needs to immediately put in measures to PROTECT elected Members of Parliament from being further intimidated. This is what I see as PARLIAMENTARY WELFARE ISSUES. Not that Welfare Bill oh.
5. The Speaker of Parliament who is very close to the Hon. Vice President needs to have a long Father-Son advisory discussion with the Hon. VP about the vicissitudes of Political seasons. There seems to be an element of POWER DRUNKENNESS somewhere somehow inside the current National Polity. This drunkenness must be curtailed.
6. H.E. President Dr. Julius Maada Bio must be once again commended by us all for ensuring he enters Falaba District tomorrow (16/06/2022) on the day slated for the SLPP to campaign in that District. Today (15/06/2022) was APC's day to campaign in Falaba. President Bio travelled up North today but he decided to wait inside Koinadugu District tonight where he will sleep and then he will travel to enter Falaba District tomorrow which is SLPP's day to campaign. That's Statesmanship. This way, nobody has disturbed the APC campaigns inside Falaba Ward 138 today contrary to how the actions of the Vice President resulted in serious disruption of the APC in Tonkolili District Constituency 056 over the weekend.
7. The Minister of Defense, the Chief of Defense Staff and RSLAF need to explain to us who owns the military truck that AMBUSHED and blocked the APC stakeholders from peacefully returning to Freetown from Tonkolili. The number plate of the military truck that AMBUSHED and DIRECTLY CONFRONTED the convoy of Honourable Dr. Samura Kamara and other APC stakeholders is as follows:
14 SL 51
It was a brand new military truck and there were well armed, uniformed soldiers (male and female soldiers) seen during the DIRECT CONFRONTATION with APC party members. The photos exist so it is very SHAMEFUL to read the RSLAF in their Press Release claim that no such confrontation happened with the APC. To my mind, the RSLAF and the Ministry of Defense are just taking "DRY EYE TO COVER THEIR SHAME!" And what a big, big shame to them. Imagine Sojaman day go lay ambush for APC political party members. Soldiers ambushing Politicians. So shameful bo.
I drop my pen.
Over and Out.

It is a reflection of the beauty of leadership that first and foremost fears God, and at the same time cares about its people. It is a leadership that emerged after decades of turmoil and despair, when most Sierra Leoneans gave up hope on politics, its failings and inability in finding solutions to socio-economic and political problems
