The Sierra Leone Firefighters— Fire Force, have find themselves trapped in the gale of displeasement after going 12 months without salaries and allowances.

The Sierra Leone Fire Force have reportedly gone 12 months consecutively without receiving their salaries and allowances. According to a bellwether in the force,their salaries haven't been paid for over 12 months and that a single firefighter is being owed at least 12 bags of rice. This action has now left the workers in the puddle of dire financial straits as they now hope to God for divine intervention.

While clamours continue to mount on,civil society activist,J. Mus,has trumpted the calls,appealing to govt. for an immediate disbursement of the allowances and salaries of the firefighters. He stressed on the critical and pivotal role firefighters play in ensuring national safety. He also urged that workers of such an essential institution shouldn't be infused with any form of demotivation or anything that has the proclivity to asphyxiate their quality of work.
