🍀Environmental Nutrition and Health – the roundtable debate
The roundtable debate “Environmental Nutrition and Health” took place on 11 July 2025. The event was attended by members of the GREENPOL Centre of Excellence, academic experts, and an international team of students from Slovakia🇸🇰, Poland🇵🇱, Serbia🇷🇸, Hungary🇭🇺, and Italy🇮🇹. In addition to the roundtable, the students took part in a multi-day event organized by the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences, SUA in Nitra.

On 30th June - 2nd July 2025, the Palma Convention Centre in Palma, Spain hosted the 17th annual International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies – EDULEARN25. The Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence GREENPOL was represented by Prof. Pavol Schwarcz and Dr. Norbert Floris from the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Slovakia who presented the paper “Teaching Trends in the Field of the European Green Policies”.

Since its inception in 2008, the EDULEARN conferences held annually have secured its status as one of Europe’s largest and most trusted education conferences for professionals, researchers and technologists around the world.

👨‍🔧The Career Day of the Faculty of EU Studies and Regional Development, 19.3.2025⚒
The Career Day of the Faculty of EU Studies and Regional Development (SUA in Nitra) has successfully showcased the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence and its focus on the critical issues of the climate crisis and the European Green Deal. 🌍 Students had the chance to explore how this unique project is preparing them for the future in energy policy, renewable energy sources, and sustainable development.🌿
With this initiative, students are now better equipped to contribute to a green and sustainable future in Europe.💡

🌍 Projekt Jean Monnet - Centrum Excelentnosti– Európska "zelená" politika 🌱(č. projektu 101127382)
V rámci medzinárodného podujatia Erasmus Village sme dňa 18.11.2024 prezentovali príležitosti, ktoré prináša projekt zameraný na klimatickú krízu a Európsku zelenú dohodu, ktorý pomôže študentom pripraviť sa na budúcnosť v oblasti energetickej politiky, obnoviteľných zdrojov energie a trvalo udržateľného rozvoja.
🔍 Prečo je to dôležité?
Tento prestížny projekt je reakciou na globálnu výzvu – klimatickú krízu, ktorá si vyžaduje okamžité riešenia. EÚ sa angažuje prostredníctvom konkrétnych opatrení, a my chceme byť pri tom! 🌱
🎓 Využite príležitosť
Študenti doktorandského štúdia, ktorí sa zapoja do kurzu, získajú kompetencie na analyzovanie aktuálnej energetickej politiky EÚ, navrhovanie riešení a implementáciu inovácií v oblasti potravinových systémov a zdravia. 🌿🔋
