Outstanding bottles and connections high above the city lights were paired with the flying menu creations of Chef Peter Duranský.

Together with a selection of renowned wineries from Slovenia, Italy, Spain, France and Austria, our wines enjoyed lively interest from invited guests and professionals.

Dňa 31. marca 2026 sa na Hotelovej Akadémii Ľudovíta Wintera v Piešťanoch uskutočnila celoštátna súťaž PIEŠŤANSKÝ POHÁR ĽUDOVÍTA WINTERA. Jej súčasťou je aj najstaršia juniorská súťaž JUNIOR SOMELIER, do ktorej sa prihlásilo 25 mladých somelierov zo šestnástich hotelových škôl Slovenska i z Českej republiky. Ako odborný garant 24. ročníka poprednej juniorskej súťaže som v spolupráci s tímom profesionálnych somelierov, horeca špecialistov, učiteľov a vinárov pripravil atraktívny program zameraný na tvorivosť súťažiacich, schopnosť riešiť bežné problémy somelierov v ich budúcom pracovnom živote, rozvíjať kreativitu, kritické myslenie a komunikáciu. On March 31, 2026, the nationwide competition PIEŠŤANY CUP ĽUDOVÍT WINTER took place at the Ľudovít Winter Hotel Academy in Piešťany. It also included the oldest junior competition JUNIOR SOMELIER, in which 25 young sommeliers from sixteen hotel schools in Slovakia and the Czech Republic entered. As the professional guarantor of the 24th year of the leading junior competition, I, in cooperation with a team of professional sommeliers, horeca specialists, teachers and winemakers, prepared an attractive program focused on the creativity of the competitors, the ability to solve common problems of sommeliers in their future working lives, and to develop creativity, critical thinking and communication.
