appreciation post:

this year was the 30th year of my short life and quite frankly, i feel like it's been one of the best to date. it of course had its very own ups and downs, but that's life right.

music-wise, holy-mada*aka, i can't even begin to grasp the luck i've had: i played a total of 15 (slovom PATNACŤ!) gigs and some of them i used to only dream about. i play shows that were smaller as well as bigger but they all meant a ton to me. i played solo but i also played songs with friends and these gigs made me appreciate this music thing even more than ever before. thank you all who made it all happen, thank you all who came to see me play and thank you all for support and all the kind words in my dms, i love you truly. next year i plan to play fewer gigs, but there'll for sure be at last a bunch of them (first one is on january 3rd in Bratislava!). anyway, i plan to do less gigs because i've been writing some new songs and i want to focus on that as much as i can, so hopefully there'll be something new for you to listen to soon-ish. 🙌🏼

the biggest thanks of them all goes to alic, who’s been there for me the whole time, was willing to travel with me all around the country and spend her weekends in random places with me. she’s been the best partner, travel companion and mental support ever. together we learnt to make wine, to bake bread, we had a roadtrip, moved flats twice and had lots of little adventures for which i am immensely grateful. love you ❤️

and yeah, i still may not look like a greek god but maybe one day, maybe ooone day. anyway, thank you once again everybody, shout out to all the people i’ve met this year, you’re all awesome. and my lil' bro got married which is amazing, gl my dude! 🤍

i could go on and on and i'm sure i forgot to say something i thought was vital to this post, but a good wannabe-influencer knows when to shut the hell up and stop encouraging their own ego trip (even though this isn't trying to be one).🫶🏼

tour 2025 is continuing, my voice is now under siege but thanks to antibiotics the battle is slowly turning in my favour.

(long) appreciation post:

during the first year of covid i took a gap year, and after a brief time i spent working at a bookstore, i went to work at a hotel in norway thanks to my friend marek.
during the first month there i decided that since i have no uni, no classes, no deadlines to stress me out, i might as well try and take the music thing more seriously. so i bought a little blue notepad and, as cheesy as it is, i wrote a few "hopes & dreams" - these would be goals that i would love to achieve at some point in my life. some were small, some quite ambitious; that doesn’t matter right now.

anyway, the past year or so since i released my debut album has been insanely rewarding, and with every step that i take (sting, i know you’re not watching me), i feel closer and closer to the purpose that's been feeeing my motivation in being a creative.

and so, just a few days back, 5 years later since my gap year, i have achieved one of the more "ambitious" ones of my goals and i played for a few hundred people at my favourite festival to date, colours of ostrava, and today I even put a little "checked" mark on “play COLOURS” in the notepad)
with that i would like to thank once again the team and also for giving me the opportunity to play at colours, it will always mean the world to me.
i also want to take a moment and thank everyone who took their time and came to see my show, because it was one of the best feelings ever. thanks for showing me your love and for being present and for engaging with my songs. you all were absolutely wonderful and i'll forever treasure that one hour of my life. and thanks to all who voted in the competition!
