🧠 Supporting neurodivergent employees: small changes with real impact

Many companies talk about neurodiversity. Far fewer know what to do differently.

But the good news? You don’t need complex programs to make a difference.

📊 Research shows that when neurodivergent employees are supported, organizations see:
• higher engagement and retention
• stronger innovation and problem-solving
• improved wellbeing and reduced stress

Here are some practical strategies that can help:
1️⃣ Create space for open communication
Employees are more likely to perform well when they feel safe to express their needs. Train managers to ask, listen, and adapt. For your training, you can use our Autism Simulator in VR, that can help gain desired results.

2️⃣ Adjust the work environment
Flexibility is the key and small changes can make a big difference. Some employees with neurodiversity may benefit from:
• quiet spaces or reduced noise
• flexible schedules
• fewer unnecessary interruptions

3️⃣ Provide Training for Teams and Leaders
Educating your workforce about the needs and strengths of neurodivergent colleagues builds empathy, reduces stereotypes, and promotes more inclusive collaboration.

4️⃣ Support wellbeing proactively
Stress and overload are common barriers. Providing mental health support and flexibility helps employees stay engaged and productive.

Neuroinclusion is not about “accommodating a few individuals.” It’s about designing work so more people can perform at their best.

And when that happens, everyone benefits: organizations, employees, customers.

🎄 As this year comes to an end, we want to send a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who helped make workplaces kinder, more thoughtful, and more human in 2025.

🫂 Whether you lead teams, support colleagues, design learning programs, or simply show up with empathy each day — your effort matters.

In a world of fast change and constant pressure, the people who prioritize understanding and connection are the ones who move organizations forward.

During the holidays, we hope you find a moment to pause, recharge, and celebrate the impact you’ve made — often quietly, but never insignificantly.

May 2026 bring fresh ideas, stronger teams, and learning experiences that truly make a difference.

✨ Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from the Autismity team ✨

🎥 Autismity in the TV JOJ morning show!

Yesterday morning, our founder Mikuláš Štubňa was invited to the TV JOJ morning show to talk about Autismity — our VR autism simulator that helps people step into the world of someone on the autism spectrum.

In the interview, Mikuláš explained:
💡 how Autismity works
👥 who it’s designed for — teachers, managers, HR teams, families, students
🌍 why immersive understanding is essential for building inclusive workplaces, classrooms, and communities

One of the most powerful moments?

👉 The TV moderator Alena Stračiaková tried Autismity live on air — experiencing sensory sensitivity and social challenges firsthand. Her reaction said it all: some things can only be understood through experience.

These are the moments that help move society forward. The more people understand what everyday life feels like for someone on the spectrum, the more empathy, inclusion, and respect we can build.

Thank you, Televízia JOJ, for giving space to such an important topic — and for helping bring neuroinclusion into the public conversation.
