Recently the IJ Alumni Association shared that a retired teacher was letting go of some of her treasured crockery. Her wish was simple — whatever funds raised would go back to the school to support the girls. Some forms of help, as we know, quietly fall outside what the MOE covers. So I reached out and said — if no one takes the saucers, let me upcycle them. Let’s give them another life.

It was such a joy helping her set up a little corner at the recent IJ Fiesta. Watching people pause, reminisce with old teachers and some pick up pieces that once sat in teachers home… that felt quite special.

I’d love to see these pieces find homes so we can add a little more to her donation pool for the girls. These are specially priced at $20 for ring dishes and $35 for the tiered stands. + $5 for Delivery
