It’s my birthday today so Poppy and I decided to celebrate by going out for a nice long ride in the sunshine.🎠✨💛🎁🎉🍰🎊🎈

We ended up being out for about 2,5 hours and I decided to ride to a place I don’t usually go to, which meant more asphalt but it was nice and exciting anyway.🌿🍂🍁🍄🌾

Once we were back, Shahina and I went for a carefree ba****ck & halter ride around the outdoor arena.🦄✨🙏🏻💕

I wonder what non-equestrians do on their birthdays?😂🎂

Today it was as sunny 21°C, which is insanely warm for being the 2nd week of autumn.😲🍂☀️🍁🍄🌾 So Poppy and I set out on a trail ride with and with high expectations of getting to enjoy the beautiful weather after a very long week.🌞🦄 And sure enough, it was a beautiful ride surrounded by golden trees and lots of laughs.🍁✨

Sadly the sunny mood was drastically changed on the way home when we had a rather unpleasant encounter with an angry motorist that decided to park his car(in a dangerous place), get out of his vehicle and give us an earful about why he should be allowed to drive as fast as he likes and that we shouldn’t be riding on the road(although we are perfectly within our rights to be there). We weren’t able to get a word in edge-ways while he continued to spout rude comments about the breed of my Arabian horse(🤭?!) for what felt like an eternity and then he left in a hurry just as I started to reply.👻 It has gone almost 4 hours now and I have finally stopped shaking.😣 Sort of. And I was just starting get over this fear of riding on roads.....😖 I think I will stick to the outdoor arena for a few days.
