Sort report on "LABORATORY QUALITY CONTROL MANAGEMENT (LQCM) WORKSHOP", Tbilisi, 23 October, 2015. The present workshop was aimed to discuss the LQCM questions in Georgia and promote and initiate the introduction of the ISO 15189 into the laboratory practice of Georgia. Seminar was attended by 23 participants. Few laboratories have already gone through the accreditation process, but for the vast majority of them the current workshop could be regarded as a starting point. During the seminar, the faculty, consisting from Marius Domeika, Kai Joers, Iryna Boiko, Madona Jorbenadze and Nino Bakuradze discussed practical steps of the accreditation process, group training during the workshop allowed to practically apply the knowledge gained.
During the seminar participants also could share their experiences within the LQCM work. Their also expressed the wish to have more seminars of this kind, where people who work with the LCQM daily could meet and learn from each other and discuss situations that arouse during this work.
(I have chosen to present the moment from this seminar in the video format using "The point of no return" from the Phantom of the opera with the thought, that once LQCM work is conducted it leads to the good quality assured laboratory practice and allows apply market economy - and this is exactly where we reach "the point of no return")
