Uppsala Metal

Gast is a Swedish metal band from Västmanland, formed in 2016 and channeling the dark, cold essence of northern landscapes. Influenced by black and death metal acts from the 90s and early 2000s, their music combines raw intensity with haunting melody, creating a dark atmosphere with lyrics exploring themes of evil, madness, and folklore. Their debut album, Mörkret Kallar, was released in 2019 on Black Market Metal Label. With Kristoffer joining as vocalist in 2023, Gast embarks on a new chapter, bringing energy and new material for the anticipated Black Friday return to Uppsala.
