Welcome to an exciting lunch lecture with Vattenfall and Forsmark where we will gain insights into Swedish nuclear power and sustainability. Fredrik Gjöthlén, a distinguished alumnus from Uppsala University, will guide us through an exploration of the work done by Vattenfall and Forsmark to promote sustainable development within the energy sector.

This is a unique opportunity to gain insight into one of Sweden’s most significant energy sectors and to learn more about the strategies and initiatives being undertaken to shape a more sustainable future!

From last week’s Case Night with Sandvik,
during EWB’s Sustainable Engineering Week! 🌍

Sandvik Coromant is focusing on using 100% recycled material in packaging by 2028. The participants were given a challenging case from Sandvik to solve in just 1 hour with their group. The case focused on how to create a circular business model around packaging, design flow, and value. The participants, coming from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise, provided valuable input to the five teams and the ideas that emerged from the process.🧠

The event was also joined by Kinna Brundin, Marcus Karlsson, Filip Ivarsson, and Robin Sjölundh, all from Sandvik, and junior Sandvik Trainees Klara Berg and Selma Ivarsson from Sandvik Coromant. Marianne Grauers, vice chairperson of EWB-SWE, also participated. ☺️
