SENS has completed the sale of its 85 MW BESS project in Pyhäsalmi, Finland, marking an important milestone for the company’s energy storage development strategy.

The project has been acquired by Frankfurt-based infrastructure investor Prime Capital AG. The transaction values the project a total project value of approximately €5.5 million. SENS held a 55% ownership stake in the project company, while Dovre Group Oyj held 45%.

“The completion of this transaction confirms that our strategy of developing larger BESS projects in attractive locations is working. Through this sale, we strengthen our position as a leading developer of large-scale energy storage projects. The transaction also provides us with the financial resources to further develop our project portfolio and realize additional value. The revenue from the transaction will be recognized in the first quarter of 2026 and will be reflected in SENS’ upcoming interim report. The divestment demonstrates the value created through SENS’ project development model and supports the continued expansion of the company’s energy storage portfolio.
