Det finns hopp. När Donald Trump beordrar USA att lämna Parisavtalet så kliver Michael Bloomberg och några andra amerikaner in och finansierar USA’s åtagande, rapportering och finansiering av FN’s klimatorganisation UNFCCC.

Utöver finansieringen planerar Bloomberg Philanthropies att samarbeta med delstater, städer och företag för att hålla USA kvar på klimatspåret trots den federala tillbakadragningen.

Det är andra gången USA drar sig ur under Donald Trump och andra gången som Bloomberg m.fl. kliver in istället.

Continued growth with close cooperation with key customers, record Q4 truck deliveries along with benchmark (!) financial focus. Something that others shall study and learn from.

The order backlog is now coming down, delivery disturbances are being solved, a six week union strike in the US has come to an end and Volvo’s operating margin is furher improved, in addition to growing sales and revenues. One of many signs on how well Volvo is operated. There will always be bumps down the road, a winner foster a culture and people that manage these pumbs while also manage to grow sales and delivery.

Finally, Volvos balance sheet strength is also worth mentioning. It is a testament that a wise strategy with a longterm view on capital structure, operating margins, working capital and free cashflow generation pays off. Proposed 18 kr dividend/share is a very attractive 7.5% dividend yield for shareholders while still making room for product and people investments in the organization and still growing the business and the enterprise value of the company.
