As we look into the new year at Help in Change, there's one milestone that means a lot to us - we completed our book project Okuvliga/Nezlamni!

Throughout 2025, the book was present at exhibitions, museums, and community meetings. It was shared in person, sent by post upon request, and found its way to libraries and readers across Sweden and beyond.
Now that all 500 copies from the first print have found their readers, we truly hope that the stories of our heroes will continue to be heard and leave a lasting impression on everyone who held this book in their hands.
The book was shared through voluntary donations. With the collected amount, rounded up and supplemented by Help in Change, we donated 50,000 SEK to Beredskapslyftet .
The donation supports an educational program run together with Ambea and other care providers. Through this program, Ukrainians in Sweden are given the opportunity to train as care assistants and later continue their education to become assistant nurses.

By supporting this initiative, we help people gain education, stable employment, and long-term opportunities, supporting their ability to establish a new life in Sweden. This strongly reflects Help in Change’s values around integration, dignity, and sustainable livelihoods.

This chapter is now complete, and new ones are ahead🚀 .

This book is the result of a true team effort - shaped by the thoughtful work of our authors Zoteeva and Basta, the courage and openness of the book’s heroes, and the dedication of the Help in Change organization team who made the project possible from start to finish with our contributors support.

З озирком на новий рік у Help in Change ми хочемо відзначити одну важливу для нас віху — ми завершили наш книжковий проєкт "Okuvliga/Незламнi!

Протягом 2025 року книга була представлена на виставках, у музеях та на зустрічах спільнот. Її передавали особисто, надсилали поштою за запитами, і вона знайшла свій шлях до бібліотек та читачів по всій Швеції й за її межами.
Тепер, коли всі 500 примірників першого накладу знайшли своїх читачів, ми щиро сподіваємося, що історії наших героїв і надалі звучатимуть та залишать глибокий слід у серцях кожного, хто тримав цю книгу в руках.

Книга поширювалася за добровільні пожертви. Із зібраної суми, округленої та доповненої Help in Change, ми пожертвували 50 000 SEK організації Beredskapslyftet.
Ця пожертва підтримує освітню програму, що реалізується спільно з Ambea та іншими постачальниками послуг у сфері догляду. У межах програми українці у Швеції отримують можливість пройти навчання на помічників з догляду, а згодом продовжити освіту та стати молодшими медичними сестрами.

Підтримуючи цю ініціативу, ми допомагаємо людям здобути освіту, стабільну роботу та довгострокові можливості для побудови нового життя у Швеції. Це яскраво відображає цінності Help in Change — інтеграцію, гідність та сталий добробут.

🙏🏻 Дякуємо всім, хто допоміг зробити цей проєкт можливим — тим, хто створював книгу, поширював її, замовляв, читав і підтримував нас на цьому шляху.
Цей розділ завершено, а попереду — нові 🚀.

Ця книга є результатом справжньої командної роботи — завдяки вдумливій праці наших авторок Анни Зотєєвої та Оксани Басти, сміливості й відкритості героїв книги, а також відданості команди організації Help in Change, яка разом із нашими контриб’юторами зробила цей проєкт можливим від початку до кінця.

The first snow has already reminded us that winter has crept up on us... And while it’s cold and dark outside, it’s time to warm ourselves with fond memories.

The Tyresö Night Run recently took place, and our community shone again, literally and metaphorically ✨

We’re especially proud of Inna, who took 5th place among women.

Inna, congratulations! 💙 We’re inspired by your strength, discipline, and the light in your eyes. Thank you for representing our team with such dignity!

We’re proud of everyone who took to the start line in the cold and wind. For it’s moments like these that remind us: we are strong, unbreakable, and together we can do more.

Heroes Run 2025 & Kyiv 10K of Resilience – Together for Ukraine! 🏃‍♀️💛💙🏅

On February 23 and March 23, 2025, we united runners and supporters around the globe in two powerful events—Heroes Run 2025 and Kyiv 10K of Resilience—to support critical humanitarian and military causes in Ukraine.

🌎 Heroes Run 2025: Over 400 runners participated simultaneously in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Warsaw, Krakow, Porto, Stockholm, Funchal, Miami, and Kyiv. Together, we raised over €17,000 for the Children of Heroes Charity Fund, providing essential psychological support programs for children impacted by the war in Ukraine. Participants ran 2, 4, or 10 km, earning unique teddy bear medals on yellow-blue ribbons.

🇺🇦 Kyiv 10K of Resilience: Stockholm ran in solidarity with Kyiv, raising funds to purchase vital electronic warfare equipment for Ukrainian soldiers of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade. Each step was a meaningful demonstration of support and respect for those defending freedom in Ukraine.
