This Saturday, we are celebrating the finissage of our exhibition HOSTING, which also marks the end of the year long project “Common Space” and 2024’s program.

Come join us celebrating with edible art and performance!

🫚 Natasja Loutchko will show a table installation with edibles, a Canteen; 📹 Marie Vedel & Tringa Gashi present their latest work Split, an experimental film consisting of performance scenes recorded simultaneously as it is being shown; 🍕 and Anne Langgaard’s sculptures will still be on view.

Come share food, fika, space and maybe some glögg with us. The event is kids friendly and free.

The menu will feature dishes inspired by a collaborative work that currently is on view on our BULDING-exhibition, for which Sindri invited Martina Priehodová, Lily Dollner, Marjike Klamer, Sturla Magnússon, Kristyan Nicholson, Aske Hyldborg and Emil Sandström.

This exhibition is part of the project "Common Ground" that explores methods of understanding the changing present and aims to share space with the local audience and communities, to work together in public environments through art. The Sorgenfri industrial area, where Celsius Projects is located in a former industrial building, is characterised by constant change and gentrification. In this context, the exhibition highlights the role that building using physical materials plays in contributing to new communities. To gather, invent and survive through culture.
