is to be measured by its spiritual value.

Therefore, the spiritual value of a text
depends on and is constituted
by its direct affecting of our life in God,
and our functional relation to God.

The spiritual value of a text and its reading
is constituted by its processes unto
the increase of the measure of Christ
in personal as well as corporate testimony.

What matters is a reading which produces
spiritual quality and maturity.

What matters is a reading
which produces spiritual autenticity.

Do we understand what it takes to read
under the hand of the Holy Spirit?
Do we understand how to read devotionally?

Do we understand what it takes to read
with greatest adherence,
for practical spiritual outcome?

Do we read as a service to God,
waiting on God, for the purposes of God?

This morning we received an inquiry whether we are issuing certificates of approval after passing a course, or providing other means of recognition as a Network or as a College.

The following is our firm response:
Intercessors and prophets never strive for recognition...

Intercessors shun the limelight.
They work as pathfinders, way ahead of the larger group of Christians.
They operate at the back of the travellers, providing covering and protection by steady intercession.
They never perform acts or use a stage or a pulpit to produce any kind of a show.

In the presence of the Lord, there are no markings of professionalism…

Prophets stand before the Lord, in proper fear and humility.
Prophets serve the Lord in solemn intimacy, waiting for a Word to be sent.
Prophets are sent men, who rest in their experience of sending.
Prophets learn to stand without recognition.
Theirs is a path in solitude, carrying the burden of the Lord – even the heart of the Lord.
This is the true marker of prophetic men.

Intercessors and prophets never take credit for any work done…
Intercessors and prophets are available to any person or setting in need…
Intercessors and prophets have come to rest in the shadow of the Cross.
