Most of us have been taught how to facilitate. We learn skills like how to ask better questions, how to manage conflict, how to increase participation, or how to guide a group toward clarity.
Much less attention is given to what we are already doing while we are trying to help: how our interventions shape participation, how certainty begins to form, how responsibility concentrates, or how attention centers around one person. That some possibilities become easier while others disappear.
On Sunday, July 19, I'm offering a new three-hour online intensive where we'll slow interaction down enough to notice these movements while they're happening.
We don't do this by talking about them but by creating them, experiencing them, and studying them together.
For facilitators, coaches, therapists, educators, and anyone curious about how their participation shapes what becomes possible in a room.

Facilitating Without Capture
July 19 on Zoom
What if quick understanding sometimes has the effect of consuming the other too quickly?
Consuming the moment, consuming uncertainty.
Translating difference back into something familiar before it has time to exist on its own terms.
