Thanks to all our fantastic colleagues, customers and partners for making 2024 such a great year! Let’s take a moment to look back at some of Semcon’s exciting projects from this year.
From our digitalisation partnership with Sporveien to many succesful projects within energy, life science, the public sector and more. Another highligt was that we grew our Brazilian operations thanks to several new orders, supporting a customer in the mobility sector in their green transition.
But the biggest news this year is that we have joined forces with Knightec to become Knightec Group - a strategic partner in product and digital service development. See you in 2025!

🦟🚀From strategy to industrialisation with Acreto
Acreto AB is a leader in mosquito control in the Nordics and distributes several different products for both indoor and outdoor use. In the past, they’ve focused on marketing and selling other companies’ products, which they’ve done successfully.
When Acreto decided to develop their first proprietary supplementary mosquito product, they realized they needed help. A multidisciplinary team from Semcon Studios was brought in and functions as Acreto’s own R&D department – all to ensure complete product development from strategy to industrialisation.
“Semcon has been a reliable partner that we could lean on throughout the entire product development process,” says Per Westerlund, who is responsible for new products at Acreto. “Their way of working and focus on user studies has led to a great product while we have learned a lot at the same time.”
