The Las Damas de Rizal – Central Region Chapter, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (LDR-CRC, KSA) proudly stands in collaboration and solidarity with the Knights of Rizal – Central Region Chapter and KAPARIZ in commemorating the 165th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal.

As one Rizalian family, we gather not only to honor our National Hero but also to reaffirm our shared commitment to preserving Filipino heritage, fostering global unity, and promoting cultural pride among Filipinos abroad.

Guided by this year's theme, “Rizal as a Symbol of Filipino Heritage, Global Unity, and Cultural Pride,” we celebrate the enduring legacy of Dr. Rizal whose ideals continue to inspire us to serve with integrity, patriotism, and compassion despite being miles away from our homeland.

Together, Knights of Rizal Central Region Chapter, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Las Damas de Rizal, CRC KSA Chapter LasDamas DeRizal Crcksa and KAPARIZ, we remain steadfast in carrying forward Rizal's vision—building bridges of friendship, nurturing our cultural identity, and empowering the Filipino community through meaningful service and fellowship.

The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), in partnership with the City Government of Calamba, will lead the commemoration of the 165th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal on 19 June 2026, at 8:00 a.m., at the NHCP Museo ni Jose Rizal in Calamba, Laguna.

Senator Joseph Victor "JV" Gomez Ejercito will serve as the Guest of Honor and will lead the wreath-laying ceremony. Joining him as wreath-offerors are NHCP Deputy Executive Director for Programs and Projects Alvin R. Alcid; Lone District of Calamba Representative Charisse Anne H. Alcantara; Laguna Governor Marisol "Sol" Castillo Aragones-Sampelo; Calamba City Mayor Roseller "Ros" H. Rizal; Calamba City Vice Mayor Angelito S. Lazaro, Jr.; Liga ng mga Barangay Head Mr. Eduardo Silva; Sangguniang Kabataan Federation President Rally E. Bustria; Mr. Johnny R. Pamuspusan; members of the Knight of Rizal and Kababaihang Rizalista; and descendants of Dr. Jose Rizal.

The commemoration will also feature a short program following the flag-raising ceremony and the invocation to be officiated by Rev. Msgr. Mario Rafael M. Castillo, Parish Priest of St. John the Baptist Parish. Mayor Roseller "Ros" H. Rizal will deliver the welcome remarks, while Councilor Maria Kathrina V. Silva will introduce the Guest of Honor. Senator Ejercito will then deliver his commemorative message.

The annual observance pays tribute to the life, works, and enduring legacy of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, whose patriotism and ideals continue to inspire the Filipino people.
