As per my opinion as a telecom specialist IP RAN / IP core network is one of the best and most demanding field in up coming days so I would recommend final year students to start some courses related to it & gain some skills. Sectors including Banking , Rescue 1122 , Universities, colleges ,WAPDA, Railways, airports, Textile industry, software houses , Arfa Kareem technology park, PSO , OGDCL,Parco , army signal centers , police department , hospitals & small internet services provider companies has a separate service routers/data centers of Huawei, Cisco & Nokia & now a days there is a need of Network Engineers in such domain.
Certifications for Telecommunication graduates.
(1) CCNA /HCNA in VOIP (voice over IP)
(2) CCNA /HCNA (Fixed Network installation)
(3) CCNA /HCNA ( routing & switching)
(4) CCNA /HCNA ( IP RAN)
(5) HCIA ( Data center certified engineer)
(6) HCIA ( Cyber security)

& For those who wants to start a career as a site engineer Fiber optics & fixed Network is one of the best field in telecom you may join telecom foundation school to learn about basics of Fiber optics splicing jointing, testing & network deployment of metro/long haul

Access network/Fixed Network.
For access Network try to learn (MSAN,MSAG,DSLAM,BRAS ,OLTs)
For Fixed Transmission Network:
Try to learn
(SDH, DWDM,OTN,PTN ,IP aggregators )

For wireless Installation department.

BSS & microwave site engineer is a tough job which is 60% technical labour .
So I would not recommend it .

But if you get a position as a coordinator or documentation engineer/level-1 &2 configuration support engineer in BSS & microwave then it's good.
