Shaykh Saifullah Muhammad

On my way to the blessed land of our beloved Prophet ﷺ al-Madīnah al-Munawwarah.

A city not defined by its streets, but by the light that once walked upon them. A place where every corner echoes with mercy, where hearts find rest, and where the soul returns to what it was always searching for.

As I journey there, I carry all of your duʿās, names, and hopes with me. One duʿā that our teachers used to teach us is the following:

اللهم ارزقنا زيارة نبيك ﷺ، وارزقنا شفاعته، ولا تحرمنا من جواره.

Which translates to:

O Allah, grant us the blessing of visiting Your Prophet ﷺ, grant us his intercession, and do not deprive us of being in his proximity.

There is something about Madinah… it does not just welcome you, it embraces you. That is why we all feel so different when entering the sacred city. Hence our beloved Prophet ﷺ told us:

َالْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُون

Madinah is better for them, if only they knew.

Narrated in Sahih al-Bukhari (1875) and Sahih Muslim (1388)

May Allah allow us all to be written among its visitors, Amīn.
