Saudi Neonatal Resuscitation Program

Today marks the first day of ! The World Health Organization specifically declared 2020 the Year of the Nurse and Midwife to recognize the committed and skilled midwives and nurses throughout the world and to bring attention to the shortage of these essential members of the global health workforce. More than 9,000 nurses are NRP instructors and nearly 140,000 nurses are NRP providers.

In this extraordinary time of the coronavirus pandemic, it seems especially appropriate to recognize and thank nurses everywhere for caring for patients during this incredibly difficult period.

Thank you for the tremendous impact you make on the health of newborns by caring for mothers and babies in the critical moments after birth.
