Today, we officially opened the doors to Initial’s upgraded Academy and our new 24/7 Service Operations Centre. This purpose-built facility, now the largest of its kind in the Middle East at 1,600 square meters, marks a significant milestone in our mission to raise service standards across the Kingdom.
The Academy will deliver core and vocational training to over 3,000 people annually, including frontline staff, supervisors, managers, and even clients. Covering both soft and hard services, the Academy features immersive, hands-on training rooms and is underpinned by global standards: BICSc, SFG20, and EXPRO’s National Guide to Asset and Facilities Management.
Our Service Operations Centre (SOC) is now live and operating 24/7. Technology is at the heart of everything we do, and with a $2 million investment, Initial’s SOC provides services such as demand-led maintenance, remote digital maintenance, and call center services. These advanced systems enable us to transition from reactive to predictive maintenance, optimize building performance, and ensure that our clients’ critical assets remain operational and future-ready.
