IOM Rwanda
How can digital tools best help migrants prepare for rebuilding life in a new country?
Refugees resettling to tested the new VINCE app during a Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO) training in , organized by IOM Finland in collaboration with IOM Rwanda.
Designed to provide relevant and accessible information from reliable sources, the app is being developed to counter misinformation and offer support for migrants both before departure and after arrival.
Feedback from the PDO participants helps determine whether the app is useful, how well its features work in practice, and if migrants would choose to use it as part of their migration and integration process.
The VINCE project is funded by the EU and is a cooperation between Swedish and Finnish partners, led by the Turku University of Applied Sciences.
