"When you educate a woman you educate a nation". At the Institute for the Economic Empowerment of Women/ Peace through Business program we work to educate and empower women socially, economically and politically.

We are currently accepting applications for our 2015 Peace through business in Rwanda.

Our in country class kicks off January through March. The in country class takes up to 30 students. After 8 weeks of training in marketing, accounting, financial management, operations and business plan writing, we select the 15 best students to travel to the USA for business boot camp and mentorship.

Who should apply :

Be a Rwandan woman business owner
Own atleast 51 per cent of your business
Should have owned the business for atleast a year
Be registered with RDB

We are winding down the first half of our Peace through business in country training for the 2013 class. So far it has been a great class. It is hard work but the women are learning and sharing lots! Kudos to RDB for coming alongside us. RDB is paying for our training facility this year to the tune of FRW 5million.
