Sometimes pain feels like a punishment, but many people come to understand it as a deep preparation for purpose. God does not waste suffering; what breaks us can also soften our hearts, open our eyes, and give us wisdom to understand others who are hurting. For example, pain like alcoholism can feel like destruction, loss, and deep struggle, but through recovery it can also become a powerful lesson in strength, humility, and healing. Through such pain, a person may learn compassion, patience, and strength that cannot be gained in comfort. Later, that same experience can become a way to comfort, guide, and support others walking similar dark paths.

You cannot change or control anyone, only thing you can change is yourself and your attitude. I stick with people who are happy for my happiness and sad for my sadness. We have a choice today and I choose to be around like minded people, and remove myself from anyone who disturbs my peace. I am with people who want me in their lives as much as I want them in mine
