Following recent media coverage regarding issues faced by some of our microfinance clients at the Kimisagara branch, BRAC Rwanda wishes to provide the attached clarification.

We are pleased to report that the matter has been addressed. The concerned clients have been approached, and we are glad to confirm that they are now on good terms with both the branch and BRAC Rwanda as a whole.

BRAC Rwanda remains firmly committed to working collaboratively with our clients, program participants, and government institutions in the collective effort to support people living in poverty.

On April 10th, BRAC Rwanda staff stood in solemn unity, remembering the over one million lives lost in the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. From laying flowers at the Kigali Genocide Memorial to lighting candles and listening to powerful reflections by Hon. Dr. Emmanuel Havugimana, the day was a poignant reminder of Rwanda’s journey from unimaginable pain to unshakable resilience.
