XVII Открытый российский конкурс артистов балета «Арабеск» им. Екатерины Максимовой откроется 19 апреля премьерой проекта «Дягилев. Hommage» — вечера современной хореографии на музыку Мориса Равеля, Николая Черепнина, Анатолия Лядова и Клода Дебюсси. Спектакль посвящен 150-летию со дня рождения великого импресарио Сергея Дягилева.

Четыре приглашенных хореографа: Юлия Бачева (Санкт-Петербург), Александр Могилёв (Москва), Алексей Расторгуев (Пермь) и Юлия Репицына (Челябинск) — по-новому интерпретируют произведения композиторов дягилевского круга. Спектакли будут объединены в единый вечер и войдут в постоянный репертуар Пермского балета.

XVII Russian Open Ballet Competition “Arabesque-2022” named after Ekaterina Maximova will open on April 19 with the premiere of Diaghilev.Hommage - an evening of contemporary choreography to music by Maurice Ravel, Nikolai Tcherepnin, Anatoly Lyadov and Claude Debussy. The performance is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the great impresario Sergei Diaghilev’s birth.

Four guest choreographers - Yulia Bacheva (Saint Petersburg), Alexander Mogilev (Moscow), Alexei Rastorguev (Perm) and Yulia Repitsyna (Chelyabinsk) - will give a new look to the works of composers of the Diaghilev circle. Four performances will become part of a single night and will be included in the repertoire of Perm Ballet.

На прошлой неделе мы закончили прием заявок и готовы подвести промежуточные итоги. Общее количество заявок - 245. Мы ждем участников из 17 стран мира и 25 российских городов. 28 театров мира отправят к нам своих танцовщиков, 27 учебных заведений - своих студентов. Мы надеемся увидеть всех заявленных участников. С 19 по 30 апреля нас ждет прекрасный праздник танца!

Last week we finished accepting applications and are ready to share some results. There are 245 applications In total. We are looking forward to meeting participants from 17 countries of the world and 25 Russian cities. 28 world theatres are sending their dancers to us and 27 educational institutions - their students. We hope to see all the participants that applied. A wonderful dance festival awaits us from April 19 to April 30!
