LAKE SELIGER (Russian: Селиге́р)

Lake Seliger is one of the biggest natural lakes of Central Russia. It is a large system of lakes linked by effluents, has many small islands and is surrounded by forests, including pine woods with many berries and mushrooms.

Location: Ostashkovsky District of Tver Oblast (380 kilometres from Moscow and 470 km from St Petersburg)
