🎓PolitIQ’s Post-Soviet Public Policy MA program’s students possess an opportunity of receiving PolitIQ academic scholarship each semester.
⠀
- The scholarship presents financial aid to outstanding students pursuing studies within the sphere of post-Soviet regions’ political processes. Both grades’ master students are eligible to apply and receive 100% of one semester’s tuition fellow based on their merits and academic performance.

- PolitIQ fellows also have an opportunity to extend the granting period and participate in competition throughout the whole academic year.
⠀
- To apply, you do not necessarily have to be a PSPP student. Prospective students of the program are also welcome to apply.
- The application is open during the whole academic year, what helps to have a longer interval between two application processes: scholarship and the application for the program itself. It allows you to track your enrollment’s progress and manage your admission schedule effectively.

We are happy to announce an official ending of the 2022 Winter School “Energy Policy: An (Energy-) Turnaround in the German-Russian Relations?” held by German-Russian Forum, MGIMO and MSU universities with the support of CENTERO Research Association and PolitIQ educational project.

🌐 During the week, German, Russian and international students have been learning together about ecological initiatives and solutions within the German-Russian cooperation.
⠀
A panel discussion with Russian experts has ended the academic program and dealt with the questions of political aspects of climate change and implications of low-carbon strategies development in the context of Russia and Germany’s socio-economic development. 🧩

The discussion was moderated by Sc.D., Head of the MSU Public Policy department, Vladimir Yakunin.

Among the guest speakers who provided their expert opinion on the issue were:

- Alexander Nikitin, Director of the Centre for Euro-Atlantic Security, Institute for International Studies, MGIMO;
⠀
- Alexander Startsev, President, North-West International Centre for Cleaner Production, Professor, International University of Fundamental Studies, UNIDO International Expert;

- Sergey Roginko, Head of Centre for Ecology and Development – Leading Researcher, Department of Economic Research, Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences;

- Kirill Degtyarev, Renewable Energy Laboratory, Moscow State University.

🎓 Intigam Mamedov, Deputy Dean of the MSU’s Faculty of Political Science, congratulated Winter School’s students with their successful completion of the program and strong academic performance. At the end of the official closing ceremony, students were awarded certificates.

What is InteRussia? An internship program for specialists in international relations, political science, and regional studies, implemented under the guidance of MGIMO professionals'.
⠀
What is included? Participants will have a chance to visit official public authority bodies and take part in expert sessions held by universities, think tanks, and non-governmental organizations. The result of an internship is a project of original scientific research.
⠀
Who is eligible to apply? Foreign specialists (without Russian residence) of the age 25-35, with Ph.D. status obtained in the last five years with no affiliation with MGIMO.
⠀
📅 Dates: Mar 21 - May 1 – dates of the first wave at MGIMO. The topic: "Post-Soviet space after the collapse of USSR in a 30-years scope".
