We have opened to a private Sovietwave-Core page to focus only on the dedicated music genre because as a label we have to always expand to different styles. So you rather interested in Sovietwave itself, you can follow new dedicated page New Sovietwave 🙂

Sovietwave is a niche electronic genre that blends nostalgia with a longing for a future that never came. It's driven by retro aesthetics, often mixing elements of synthwave and lo-fi, with the cultural memory of Soviet-era imagery and soundscapes.
I’ve become deeply inspired by this unique blend of past and future, and it sparked my passion for creating music and art that fits into what I call the New Sovietwave genre. It’s my personal take on the original style, merging retro-futuristic vibes with modern production, to bring it into the future.

As a child, one day I came home from school to find a bottle of cola left in the fridge from my dad’s birthday and an unfinished pack of chips in the cupboard from a salad my mom had made. I grabbed all these goodies and played CS 1.6 all evening. During one of the rounds, while sipping cola and munching on chips, I thought, «It won’t ever be better.» And it never did.
