How not to get caught by scammers

In pursuit of favorable conditions, you can fall into the hands of scammers. There are cases when such persons call investors and offer to buy their services.

Such brokers can be checked in a simple way:

1. Ask the caller for the name of the company and find out in which country it is registered.
2. Open the website of the Central Bank of the country you named.
3. On the example of the Central Bank of Russia: you need to open the section "Securities market" - "Registers", find the line "List of brokers" and download this file.

The document contains all licensed brokers on the territory of the Russian Federation with official data: TIN, PSRN, legal address, contacts, license number with date of issue and validity period. If the list does not contain the company that the “representative” called, these are scammers.
