As you know, Colonel Sanders' recipe of 11 herbs and spices is a secret. Sanders set up two companies to develop the mixture, neither of which ever had access to the full recipe. In 2016, the Chicago Tribune ran a story that Sanders' nephew Joe Ledington learned the recipe from a family scrapbook. The album contained the will of Sanders' second wife, Claudia Ledington. Presumably, the secret recipe was written on the back of the will.

Manicure has been known as an art since time immemorial. So, in ancient Greece there was a “position” of a cosmetologist. As you might guess, this word comes from the same root "cosmos", which is translated from Greek as "order". Therefore, well-groomed nails are a step towards harmony. Beauticians were slaves, and their duties included bathing Greek citizens in special baths with aromatic oils, giving them massages, applying makeup and a special “nail polish” consisting of animal fat and blood. The same was done by cosmetologists in ancient Rome in the 2nd century BC.
