The guilt is heavy…I always told myself I’d visit more. I thought I had time. But time ran out, and now I wish I could go back and do it differently. It hurts so bad…💔I know love isn’t measured by visits alone…She knew I loved her…Love is in the memories, in the moments we shared, in the way she shaped me…And if she could speak to me now, I know she wouldn’t want me drowning in regret. She would want me to remember her with love, not pain.Grief is strange. It doesn’t follow a straight path, and right now, I don’t even know what to feel, say, or be. My grandmother passed away, and I find myself caught between numbness, sadness, and confusion, all at once.They say grief comes in waves… I’m starting to understand what that means. Some moments feel normal and then suddenly, a memory hits and everything changes. I don’t have the right words, but maybe that’s okay. Maybe grief isn’t about saying the perfect thing…it’s about letting yourself exist in the moment, however that looks...For now, I’m just here, feeling this, remembering her and taking it one breath at a time...Even though my heart aches, I choose to carry her with me, not in guilt, but in gratitude. In love. In the little ways she’s remains a part of me.I love you beyond time, beyond distance, beyond this life. You are with me always, in every heartbeat, in every whisper of memory.
