Shakespeare Talks Tech

After the April, inaugural edition "starring" Ionut Antiu, Shakespeare Talks Tech program continued with an edition focused on machine learning, a technology field that became really hot and promising in the last period.

The Hands-on Introduction to Machine Learning, was designed and delivered by dr. Mariescu-Istodor, a passionate postdoc researcher at the Itä-Suomen yliopisto - University of Eastern Finland (UEF)

Radu helped participants understand the principles of machine learning using examples from the field of image processing/recognition, after coding small routines in pair programming and group work approach.

As Radu run the event using the Finnish Teaching Method, where students own the activity and the interaction with the teacher, other students and the learning environment several members of Machine Lerning Meetup and Timisoara Deep Learn community

Besides kids from Liceul Teoretic "William Shakespeare" several students from "Vlad Tepeș", „Grigore Moisil”, ,,Carmen Sylva'', "Bela Bartok" and "Nikolaus Lenau" high-schools attended the event.

Great to see Timisoara high-school kids are talking better and more tech!
