I am so happy to have such a talented and hard working student! Cezara Chisa performing Etude op. 76 no.2 by J. Sibelius. She is in the 3rd year of piano study and her progress is simply beautiful!

My beloved student, Nicoleta Crainic is improvising a ballet choreography on a Romanian piece called "Hit happily the black key". Knowing that she is a good ballet dancer, I used this exercise for a better understanding of the difference between staccato and legato playing. The result of our little experiment was above my expectations. We have an amazing experience and the pianistic problem was also solved. She is currently learning the musical piece and she is having a lot of fun playing staccato.

So happy for my students Daniel Prichici and Maria Pirvulescu because they had the chance to work with one of the most amazing Romanian pianists and teachers, Mr. Viniciu Moroianu, professor at National University of Music Bucharest, Romania. Both, students and audience, had a memorable experience!

Astazi vorbeam cu Ioana la ora de pian despre cm gestioneaza ea oboseala si stresul zilnic, legat de scoala, in special. Am intrebat o ce face sa se relaxeze si cm reuseste sa mearga inainte chiar si atunci cand nu are chef de lectii. Raspunsul ei a fost: daca chiar n am chef de teme deloc, ma pun la pian si cant ceva pana ma relaxez si vine si cheful de teme. In astfel de momente, mi se incarca bateriile instant, cand vad ca munca noastra merge in directia buna.
Lucrez cu Ioana de 5 ani si jumatate, perioada in care a avut momente extraordinare: in clasa I era cea mai buna din generatia ei in zona Banatului, in clasa a III a revenit in concursuri si s a descurcat excelent, de vreo jumatate de an este intr un progres continuu si mare. In clasele a II a si a IV a a avut momente de stagnare, in care cu greu am finalizat piese, dar totusi n am stat pe loc si, cel mai important, nu a renuntat. Uitandu ma in urma, putem invata din experienta Ioanei ca sunt momente de ascensiune in care trebuie profitat de "valul" de energie pentru a acumula informatii noi, iar in perioadele de "hibernare" putem consolida informatiile si explora poate alte directii (poate teorie, istoria muzicii, alte elemente care intregesc formarea muzicala a unui pianist). Acele 100 de puncte oferite de un juriu foarte serios, inseamna mult pentru noi, pentru ca sunt oglinda unei munci constante, dedicate, sustinuta permanent de parinti.
Indiferent ce va alege Ioana sa faca in viata, stiu ca pianul ii va fi un prieten de nadejde la care va apela oricand va avea nevoie, iar asta mi a facut ziua extrem de frumoasa!
